20201.jpg "I'm 49, I've had a brain haemorrhage and a triple bypass and I could still go out and play a reasonable game of rugby union. But I wouldn't last 30 seconds in rugby league." - Graham Lowe (1995):20201.jpg |

| Is anyone else picking up how strange the in game editing of the match is, are they training up a new producer live on air? Skips from wide angle to close up just at the point of the tackle and therefore we miss the tackle?

10172_1376829585.jpg Dan Sarginson: "This is a fantastic opportunity for me to join the biggest name in the competition" 18/10/2013
Tony Clubb: "This is a new exciting chapter of my life signing for Wigan and I couldn't be happier" 18/10/2013
Romain Navarrete: “I’m very happy to have signed for Wigan Warriors. As soon I knew that Wigan were interested, they were the only team that I wanted to sign for. To me, Wigan is the biggest Club in Rugby League and it will be an honour to pull on the famous Cherry-and-White jersey next year. I look forward to working with Shaun Wane and the players at Wigan.”:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10172.jpg |

| So basically, if anyone on here hasn't been to every single Wigan game, including acadamy level, since the day they were born, can't claim to be a fan, and must never voice an opinion as to how they saw the performance of the last game they saw.
Cat 789924 fans only.
And don't call yourself a 'fan': instead use: supporter, officianado, devotee, or enthusiast.
And as for the person who thinks it's easy to get to a game from down here, you've clearly never driven the 167 miles up the M1 and M6 or A50 at that time of a working day. And getting back home after midnight isn't always condusive when you have children, and work in the morning.
But don't let other people choose to live their lives their own way. If they don't conform, you can always insult them and make yourself feel self-righteous!!

I've made the point before - fan is short for fanatical - not very fanatical sitting on your @rse watching tele is it? Especially as the club were practically giving the tickets away.
Excuses like "I work on a Thursday" is a bit lame. Especially as we got almost double the attendance against Warrington the week before for a meaningless game. I very much doubt that the missing thousands were ALL working last night.'"
did you go to the WCC v Brisbane and the Roosters?

| An apology
As I'm clearly in a minority of one. Time to face facts. I thought that anyone who considered themselves to be "fans" would actually go the game. I was wrong.
Still every cloud and all that. Turns out I am now a fan of
New Zealand Warriors, Catalan Dragons, liverpool FC, Boston Red Sox, Lancashire CCC and Rory McIlroy! Who knew?
Regards AUOP
PS see you at the game next Friday? (Maybe not)

| The Mods have decided to be the judge of who can and can't be regarded as a fan.
Once we have come up with a completely arbitary and random set of measures that abuse our power, we'll get back to you.
