8k would be beyond embarrassing, we should be ashamed if that's the case. We can muster over 20,000 for a meaningless game against Leeds, yet the one that matters and we struggle to get up to 10,000? Bizarre

I would love to go tonight but it is a Thursday and I am not dragging my 7 year old on a school night to get in at half 10. he will not be asleep till 11. Thursday night games are bloody stupid.

Agreed. It should be the highest attended game of Wigan's season, cheaper tickets than the regular season too.... 8k and we'll be a laughing stock of the league.

My nephew never comes to Thursday games for the same reason. It's a shocking night for the paying spectator but a great night for the TV fans sadly.

With my Wigan hat on its awful but when it's not us I think its great as Thursdays are pretty boring. Unfortunately the tv fans will always win.

Went to my first game as a six year old and it was a night game too. Remember the teams and scores like it was yesterday. Took my lad when he was six. Didn't harm his education one bit. He graduated about five years ago with a first in maths

Quite right too. My kids are 7 and 4. There is no chance I would take them to an evening game on a school night. They are both in bed by 7 and need their sleep. Unfortunately I don't have the choice and I can't even watch it on TV as I'm at work until 0030
