I'm not a big fan of MM for some of his dirty tricks in the past but I admit he's a decent player and Wigan look stronger with him playing.

Anyway, I don't think the was much in his late shoulder charge last night. I accept it was late and used the shoulder but he didn't exactly give it to laithwaite. It was more of a little nudge with the shoulder.

I know it was enough to have him carried off but ion he was loose after he passed it as he wasn't expecting it which caused "whiplash" style impact. It's natural to relax after passing the ball and that's when MM hit him.

The challenge is nothing worse than other off the ball hits that's been creeping into the game lately. Sia at saints has done it 3/4 times the last few weeks.

Again I'd say there's not a great deal in the Walmsley incident. Robinson is tiny and Walmsley is a beast. He's got him slightly late (just like Micky Mac) but these things happen. The way the sky team went on you'd think he'd tried to kill him.

The game is getting watered down too much for me at the minute. The slow motion replays aren't helping. Play McIlorum and Walmsleys at full speed and neither would look particularly bad.
