Quote: Bovrick "Really struggling this year if I'm honest. Far too much disruption in the squad for anyone to have put in a particularly memorable run of form - and those that do spring to mind I wonder if I'm being a tad biased due to what I'd expected of them (Bateman/Burgess). Subdued year for me, with a great exploration of our depth without any major standouts. If you forced me to pick I'd say Taylor has probably scraped top player for us this year imo.'"
Agreed the injuries make it very hard to come up with a good set of three.
Before the wheels came off in this regard I thought Faz and Burgess caught the eye. I don't think Faz goes so well against big packs but when he is running wide out left he is very effective and Burgess is a natural.
For sheer class Bowen has to be in there. He can do stuff other players can't so that gets him a vote from me. So:
1. Bowen
2. Burgess
3. Faz
