However the ratings are worked out, its good that they're published and can be discussed openly. If the rating system is any good, over a long enough period they should clearly show why certain teams have been better than others. I'm not so worried by Leeds' downward blip, but I'd bet several of the teams scoring effectively zero have been in the same position for years.
Given they've only been published for the last 4 years, it's too early to make any meaningful comparisons, but it might be interesting in another 5 years or so to look at academy performance vs 1st team & perhaps overall spending as well.
I'd like to see all available 4 years side-by-side: if creche performance is a measure of future 1st team success, two anomalies in there are Cas & Hudds.
Much as I would have expected apart from Leeds like others have said. It will be interesting to see Salfords next year to see if Koukash is pumping money into the youth development and to see if there are any improvements.
