I think the whole brother element can be overstated, it's not like any of the Tomkins brothers stayed at Wigan when they had their brother(s) at the club in the first place. I'd hope that the pull of playing for the most famous club in rugby league and a good chance to win trophies would be a big enough pull if we can put together enough money to go with it (which surely we should be able to given the cap rules for home grown players which Salford shouldn't be able to match). I can see him using us as a springboard to get into the NRL but I'd still go for him, 2/3 years with him playing for us is better than 2/3 years of him playing for Salford or whoever

I tend to agree, he is no better than several players that could have a run at hooker imo.

I think people are being guilty of underestimating Logan's ability (IMHO of course)
Considering Powell will be SO. Apart from Williams - who else did you have in mind?

Hampshire or Sarginson at SO with Powell spelling the hooker role? Plus McIlorum will move back there once we get Lockers, Flower and Clubb back. Leave him where he's at, a full season getting regular game time will help him more than being in and out of the team every week.

| One of the aspects of Logan's play that probably players notice more than spectators is the speed of the ball from the ground. I was watching him practice with Powell a few weeks ago and he was twice as fast. Almost Dermott-esque.
Also he was the fittest player on the books 'til Sarge came along.
By the way, I think Sarge would cause the opposition a lot of problems from stand off.

| Quote: wigan pie man "thats the first ive read on here about something ive suspected, not heard any rumours, but i know hes out of favour at Sarries, and ive long thought a move back could be on the cards. I have watched him play live, and he looks like a little boy lost. He's managed to get his England honours, but it was short lived, so i assume our chairman keeps an eye on things and as hes nearing the end of his contract, i suspect Joel would relish the chance to return to Wigan'"
*coughs and smiles* because WPM has got it right for one ![Smile icon_smile.gif](images/smilies//icon_smile.gif)
