Really enjoyed last night right from having a few pints outside the royal oak near the ground to seeing the players doing a great job of interacting with the fans at the end getting pictures taken and signing autographs (they really seem a great bunch of blokes).

Top set up at Dewsbury. Easy to get food and drink, decent view, a good atmosphere and good facilities. They look a very good side as well and made it a really good game to watch.

was another class night and a great performance from the lads. dewsbury played well until the 50th min and I think they had a few dodgy decisions go against them.

Reminded me of why I love our great game. Forget the match.

We met up pre-match with Waggas dad and a current players dad in Hanging Heatons WMC. it was great to have a catch up with John, we hadn't seen him since Wayne was at Bradford.

However what was superb was the Dewsbury fans just wanting to come and talk Rugby League. One lady even offered us free drinks all night, blankets and breakfast if Dewsbury won. "Just leave your car on the car park, it'll be alright and you can all kip down in the games room" she said.

There is a great love of RL below SL that the RFL must unite if our game is ever going to be the best it can be. Dewsbury need that dream of playing the Wigans every week to keep the grass roots strong.
