Quote: Father Ted "I think the administrator has said Mrs Koukash won't be allowed to buy the club no matter what.
With Lamb pulling out that's two preferred bidders who have withdrawn their offers.
This is just awful for the Bradford club, as for their fans, heaven knows how they must be feeling.
There does seem to be something not quite right though, the administrator has to find a buyer but the RFL are demanding proof of funds. So who exactly is in charge of this administration the RFL or the administrator?'"
the administrator is only charged with getting the best price they can, whether that's for the whole club or if not possible, then individual assets (inanimate or living). The RFL (I can only assume) will be trying to ensure some long-term viability (ie not another carpet-bagger who'll only be around for 5 minutes) so we're not having the same discussion this time next year. According to reports, Koukash's bid simply wasn't high enough to cover the outstanding debts.
