| Loving this comp so far - each game surpasses the last!!!
Real pity that RL is the best kept sporting secret in the UK - if this was soccer or union the nation would be drooling - what do we have to do !!!

It is and we do crave that attention but I wonder sometimes would things be the same if we got it? I wouldn't have swapped that occasion at Rochdale for the world last night. The atmosphere was immense and it was a great opportunity for the community of Rochdale and inparticular the Fijian people to go and experience it. There was a raft of kids there, families there and it was a real party. Give me that over huge, lifeless and soulless football stadiums where supporters only turn up because it's the 'in thing to do' anyday. We also have real players with passion that runs deep, no money grabbing, half ar*ed, fancy Dans like you see on show in the premiership each week.
We have a lot going for the game that a huge influx of money and recognition could damage. Its a fine balancing act I suppose.

| Thought last nights game was the best yet, I also felt Tonga were robbed by the video ref at the death as that was a try for mine.
In relation to the competition itself it is going fantastically well. I think the RFL, have the platform and the level they are pitching it at bang in the money.
No point in getting too ambitious, full stadia is important along with a great product. So far in my opinion we have laid some great foundations on which to build. Rugby League has to be in it for the long haul, a modest yet successful World Cup is another step done the right track.

Going to the Tonga/Cook Isles match at Leigh next week (I've had me jabs) so looking forward to listening to tonight to see how they perform (not got Sly, so thank F for 5Live).
Sat right at the back of the Pearl Street stand on Monday & the Irish supporters were a bit quiet (with reason), but crackin' atmosphere overall.
Just hope the Yawnion mob don't manage to hijack the weekend though.
