Good assessment, except Goulding's try prior half time is what really gave the fans hope as it exposed a flaw in the Wire defence. The culture at Wigan is what all clubs should aspire to. Warrington will be 4th in 2014 and dangerous in the play offs, beyond that they need to recruit or start blooding their juniors.

Didnt a Huddersfields player get bent over recently ? playing Hull I think. Nothing was said about that and that looked a lot worse, amazingly though, I think he got up and carried on

| Firstly well done Wigan, best team won on the night.
As for the Subject header 2014 Year of the wolves... I think personally it will be a good thing the our "big stars" are moving on, it's what are team needs. An injection of new talent and hopefully from the academy. Only time will tell if these younger lads O'Brien, Dwyer, Currie etc.. can be SL standard but the only way we will see is with them getting SL time. Already looking forward to a fresher side in SL 14..
Sgt Pepper, why don't you contact the RFL and Sky to pitch your idea of a two tier system...
Tier One... Wigan and Leeds (with all trophies being contested)
Tier Two...everyone else (no trophies allowed)
I hope as an RL supporter you are seriously Trolling with this, if not it's people like you that are going to kill the game!
Once again guys well done, enjoy the World Cup and see you in February for SL 14!

29281_1270406980.jpg When Maurice sold me to Leeds something changed, it just not the same, the passion inside me just wasn’t the same as running out at Central park for my hometown club.
We need a change of culture here; we don’t want to be just happy with playing ok on Saturday at St Helens.
Ill make sure that from now on things will change, that players will be under pressure and will train a lot harder than they have before.

| I think people need to have there head a wobble here. Wire have done fantastically well for such a small club over the past few years. Back at Wilderspool they were playing in front of 4-5k week in week out and had a real struggling team as can be proven by the decades of trophy less seasons. Out of the big four north west sides they have been and always will be behind Wigan Stains Widnes and with the possible emergence of Salford could slip into fifth place. But good on em if they can still keep up their relatively sucucceful seasons. It's always good to see minnows punching above their weight.
