Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.
Fermentation may have been a greater discovery than fire.

| Big wraps to Wigan, thought it'd be a long time until a team did the double again, and it was great to see so many British players at the forefront of Wigan's success. Was it only three(?) overseas players in the squad. Impressive stuff.
It's important for the game that the most successful teams are the ones that have the majority of their key players come through the academy, and it's great to see that from teams like Wigan and Leeds.
Whilst some supporters of other clubs will be licking their lips at the prospect of a 'weaker' Wigan without Tomkins, Richards, Mossop etc., personally I'm more interested in seeing how Wigan deal with those losses and continue to build success with their young players. Hopefully lots of other SL clubs take heed.
Congratulations, and roll on 2014.

I'm honestly not sure we will be weaker on paper at least. Bowen for Tomkins is like for like imo. We'll have a more experienced pack with the additions of pettybourne, Powell having a rest and a full pre season. Hopkins is highly rated and a number of youngsters have had a decent amount of rugby this year.
