I must admit as much as I would love England to win, I must support the club I've watched for years first. I have a feeling that the World Cup, even if England win it would be a one day news story quickly forgotten. No trip to Downing Street or MBE's like other sports I'm afraid.

I would say England without a doubt if I thought it would raise the sports profile in the country for any more than 24 hours, but even if they do it won’t.

Yeah i agree
I dont like the lack of a floppy collar. GB RL got rid of theirs after 2006(?) tri-nations and i did not like that either.
For me, a floppy collar is what distinguishes a RL jersey form other sports |

When Wigan play, Wigan. When England play, England. I want them both to win for different reasons. Obviously Wigan are my club and the two cup wins this year were fantastic, but as others have said, if RL is to get any recognition in this country - however small - we need to win the WC.
