| I dont think that Wire are the mean machine of last year but they are still a frightening side when operating on full cylinders.
Not sure about this one tbh and really could see it going either way.
Some of the performances i have seen by Wigan this year have been absolutely top drawer though. If we get into them i can see us taking the spoils.
Same goes for that lot.
18 -16 Wigan

| I was just thinking of this years away fixture, and how we stayed with a full strength Wire for 70 minutes.
That night we didn't have Thornley, McIlorum, Flower, Dudson, Taylor, Lockers, and Green.
And only played with 3 subs.
Could we possibly have enough power up front with these key players back to do it?

Not even thinking about the league games, this is the grand final. Everyone from both teams will be fired up for this and come out all guns blazing. Really could go either way.

| Tough to call, but I'll go for a low-scoring Wigan win. If it ends up being a shootout I wouldn't fancy our chances.

| I'm bricking it and can only see a Wigan win. I am a pessimist though with all our years of hurt!

| I have been changing my mind all week but as the week goes on the more I have the nagging feeling that it will be Wigan in a low scoring game, something like 16-10.

| Quote Bostonslugholes="Bostonslugholes"Well if common sense serves then we should win this one, looking at the statistics of the two super league games against Warrington we have played them twice with depleted teams both games without Sean O 'Loughlin and drew one and only just lost the other with an even more depleted team '"
I completely understand your point of us beating Wigan earlier this season when you had some senior players out. But the question I ask is this, would your 'senior' players have played to the same high level and intensity as your youngsters? From what I can remember your younger guys played out of their skins that night and really made us work for the win....I'm not sure you would have seen that from a fully fit team.
Additionally, Wigan lost something like 7 of their last 9 league games didn't they? I'm sure all those weren't down to injuries.
Could be wrong though.
I just hope this game is a classic, contended by two excellent sides, with Wire finishing on top
