Getting off train at oxford rd then up to the paramount, make our way down to deansgate to the row of bars including revolution, bar bar etc....then tram to salford quays, call into sam platts before heading to ground.

its more like 12 foot tbh
those bars get very very busy but starting there and working your way up to the ground on foot is a good idea as previously mentioned, cask and white lion on liverpool road nr deansgate stn are good if you like real ale, good guest beers in cask

Those pubs are fine, but just be aware as United are on Sky at 5pm they may be really full and last time I was there they weren't letting fans in with football tops on. When I explained I was wearing a rugby top they were OK about it. Should be OK for GF though.

| The pubs near the big wheel get ridiculously busy, although the atmosphere was great in 2010.
Planning to go Paramount, Peveril of the Peak, Briton's Protection and the Deansgate, then jump a tram from Deansgate.  |
