33718_1325770967.jpg Games as big as Grand Finals define individuals and clubs. Remember, we only rent these journeys. In my time I had Pat Richard's shirt. Ellery Hanley had Sean O'Loughlin's jersey. Sam Tomkins is wearing Radders' number one jersey. Andy Coley is wearing Shaun Wayne's jersey. You have to make a mark in these shirts before you hand it down to someone else. Hand it back. So be aware for 80 minutes that you are not only playing, but you are also writing history and creating legacy. How many people actually write history - not many? A big stage demands big players…..INSPIRE YOUR TEAM MATES.

| Lockers is playing, so you can all pick your teams again, just leave Gelling out.

| Quote: Odem "Logan must mot play in this game. Look how much better we were against Hudds without him.
5 props is also a must in my opinion. Leeds battered us in the forwards twice this year.'"
why all the negativity about logan?
It was same pre Wembley..i was in a small minority who wanted him to play, and im same now.
Lets look at the bigger picture.
Versus Hudds last game MM played 80 minutes. I cant argue with that, it was S*** or bust time. Lose and a Knackered MM gets a long rest, Win and he gets 2 week to recover.
This time its same scenario except he only gets a week off to recover for the most important game of the season, provided we win.
I dont want a clapped out half fit MM playing at old trafford, and neither does SW, thats why he'll name Logan on the bench.
I could be wrong, but dont think so

Why would Micky be knackered after playing 80 mins? Loads of hookers do it in the NRL and Micky has done it regularly for us. The issue with spelling McIlorum for Logan is not only are they are a similar style of hooker, but there is an obvious drop in intensity, both in attack and defence, when McIlorum goes off.
I'm definitely not writing Logan off as a player for the future, and I think he has been used well this year which will have given him excellent experience to build from, but I think it we are more likely to get to OT if he doesn't play on Friday.

| lesser of 2 evils, 80 mins of full on intensity with Macca playing and a better chance of winning and making the final.. or a spell of Logan, drop off in intensity and more chance of losing and season over.......
damned if you do and damned if you don't....who would want to be a coach

I'm not against MM having a breather, I just think Hampshire/S.Powell coming into the halves with Smith to 9 is a better route to go down. I hate to have a go at my own team's players but Logan hasn't been good enough in most games, and we have two or three better ball players sat in the stands IMO. I'd loan him out to another SL club (Wakey/London?) next season to get him a lot of experience without damaging our performances, then look at bringing him back to our bench for the 2015 season once one of S.Powell/Hampshire/Williams has proved themselves ready for the 6 shirt (assuming Green leaves, as he has hinted).
