Hampshire in for Tomkins IMO

I'd go with more or less the same squad that demolished Huddersfield.
If Goulding is fit and Gelling isn't in the starting 13 then put him on the bench instead of Hughes.
Andy Powell to start and in his 9 mins to do his 13 tackles and 3 hit ups. (per SL stats) We lost Powell after 9 mins and Hudds lost Crabtree after 16 and Lunt shortly after. I know who got the best out of that! Go with 6 props again.
We need another demolition job doing on the Leeds pack as was done v Huddersfield.

That's assuming Lockers and Tuson are out of course. Not a big fan of Hughes this year but there's not really another option as a bench second rower. Gelling's not played there for us so it wouldn't be that smart to bring him on there in a play off game. I'm assuming Burke's season's over

The Centre positions are a worry, Goulding has hardly played any Rugby in the last couple of months, he has missed matches for various reasons or been taken off injured (the last two matches taken off with concussion).
That's why I think we should start with Thornley and Goulding in the Centres with Gelling on the bench, that way we would not be in the position of having to move a forward to centre if Goulding has to go off again.

Any doubts about Gouldings fitness, leave him out.

If he does the doc will pick it up and throw it back out!

I'm pretty sure Goulding's injuries were concussions, he would be pretty damn unlucky to get concussed for a third time. Certainly wouldn't use up a bench spot on the off chance. Agree re him not playing if he's not 100% over it of course
