5,000 would be embarrassing. You got over 8K for your last home game, and over 8K for Wigan's last visit, and Wigan will travel in large numbers. As Grimmy said, for the hard core it doesn't matter if its £10 or £25 or on TV - they will be there, and as Wigan's hard core is around 6000 for home games, then I would expect at least 1500-2000 of them will make the 40 mile journey up the M62.

I'd be hoping for a 7,500+ crowd at those prices, even if the game itself means little as to who will make the GF - all things being equal, we'll be seeing Giants v Warriors again in a couple of weeks!

7116 was around 10% up on their average, which considering the weather conditions and it being on a Thursday night was a pretty good effort.

Somehow, I cant see Warrington getting less than 7116 for a Saturday afternoon, but then again I cant see them being 10% up on their average crowd either.

just thought i'd say well done, you deserved the win you were the better team on the night and your defence was great, we never got a sniff really and snuffed out our attacks before they got going, not that we were very inventive. you got your tactics spot on
