You do get an advantage for finishing further up the table.

Finish 1-4 you get a second bite of the cheery if you lose week one.
Finish 1 or 2 you get a home tie
Finish 1 you play 4 which "should" be easier than 2 playing 3 like wise it's better to finish 3 instead of 4 cos you play a lower placed team
Finish 5 or 6 you get a home tie again higher you finish the lower the ranking of the team you play.

This year you have decided amongst your self that going to Huddersfield will be easier than Warrington. This is not the RFL's fault.

So on paper 5th and 6th get an easier game than 1st or 2nd, with only a 2nd bit of the cherry of they get beat as the incentive. The current PO stinks, end of.

No 5 n 6 don't get an easier run at all. But I am not saying I like the current format at all but it is fair. Yes you can win it from any wear if you hit the playoffs with form and healthy squad as Leeds have shown, but that can happen in any system.

We want fourth place, you have a better points difference, so a 0-0 result with Sky describing the game as a defensive blockbuster will send all viewers to sleep. First Wigan away game we'll miss for 20 years - Thursday night rugby, get real Sky.

Some barmy suggestions, what will be, will be. Bring anyone on, nothing would please me more than to get another crack at the Wolfs, in case people need reminding the last time we played them in a knockout game, they got knocked out.

I understand they are a great side on their day, but so are we.

We already have the knowledge of a trophy in the bag this year, no panic.

It does not really matter, even if we lose in round 1 the route to the GF is not made massively more difficult

We should select our strongest team for every game from now on , the play offs start next week really..forget this lose to leeds and then beat Hudds, thats just B*******, no game is gonna be easy from now on in, lets win next week and start to build momentum..with our strongest 17 , we are more than capable of beating Hudds & Wire's dads army...Win every game from now on and we will complete a famous Double

For me we have now given alot of the young players some decent game time. Enough for them to feel comfortable to be called upon in the playoffs if needed. Next we play the champions. We need confidence, we need momentum. Strongest team possible, go for the win against Leeds, beat the champions and who ever we play we play. We can beat anyone. But with no game time playing our strongest team I dont fancy to beat either Wire or Hudds. We need to gel again and this will only happen with intense game time. Leeds will give us that.
