Gutted for the lad that he missed the celebrations at the end and missed lifting the cup which is every players dream. Being in hospital instead certainly cant have been good.
It is amazing how he still managed to complete the tackle whilst being knocked out!

He got to lift the SL trophy in '10 and he'll be able to lift it at the homecoming at least. He's always struck me as the kind of lad who would take getting knocked out if it meant winning the cup |
