living near leigh town centre will be using the goose which is on the corner of the bus station

all cask beer at £1-99 which in recent times have had hobgoblin,marston ped and two beers from a blackburn micro brewery.

I know a lot of Leigh fans use the George and Dragon now, they migrated from the Goose when the prices came to be to dear (Maybe the Goose have seen the light). Tetleys bitter in the George and Dragon £1-50 and other beers etc on a pro rata basis.
I being from Atherton (but a Wigan supporter) will drop off the bus at the George, have a couple of pints in there then wander off to the ground. Then it is either the Wren (the last I heard it was very pricey) or the Park Hotel which I have had no experience of.

But beware which way supporters come in to Leigh, the twist lane island (the large one near Parsonage retail park) is absolute chaos at times due to major road works.

Forestwood, it seems that I am the only one to answer your post, that means either you will have to come across to the George or I will have to walk across to the Goose for a pint if we want to talk RL.
I am confused by the lack of response and I had a bath last week at that.

Award winning White Lion is a 10 minute walk, the Robin Hood is 5 minutes away and has cracking food.
