Most semi finals now have poor attendances since the move to summer rugby and the height of the holiday season.
The Challenge Cup should be played in the early part of the season with the final no later than the beginning of June.
That way we would have a final in each half of the season and not on top of each other like they are now.
No rocket science needed to improve the competition, just common sense.

I did'nt go today because i was working.i went to hull away and the wigan following was'nt briilliant ,but for one moment i did not think about posting a thread about attendances because it did not enter my head about negative threads about irrelavent nonsense

When Maurice sold me to Leeds something changed, it just not the same, the passion inside me just wasn’t the same as running out at Central park for my hometown club.
We need a change of culture here; we don’t want to be just happy with playing ok on Saturday at St Helens.
Ill make sure that from now on things will change, that players will be under pressure and will train a lot harder than they have before.

It has to be kept in perspective. 6K for an additional game outside of the season tickets, is still about what Huddersfield pull in for an average league game with all the season tickets.
Glass houses tend to spring to mind.
