| Well I have just got back and I ain't in the best of moods after having to turn around and go back almost to the DW because bloody slip road at the A49 was shut so I can back via Orrell. That is after having to work today so my journey as I went home to pick up my son for the game was Runcorn-Chester-Wigan-Orrell-Chester.
So you can factor that into my thoughts on Powell if you like.
He looked clueless. Now some might say he's new to the team but players like Talyor don't look clueless when they join a new team. They know how to play RL. Powell has a lot to learn and God knows where he is going to learn it because the first team isn't the right place.
Physically? He doesn't look like an RL player. His muscle definition is just not what you expect to see and he looked pretty slow and pretty ponderous to me.
That's it really, nothing more to say because that was all there was to his contribution.

| Quote: Wigan28/Leeds18 Andy "It's a pain in the proverbial, Dave, trying to move posts out into others.
Suggest that it now moves back to Powell and any posts off topic just get deleted - which I've already done. Same for other threads as well.'"
Yes OK. The idea of moving several odd posts elsewhere using the mechanisms available wasn't exactly a great prospect.

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10174.png |

| Quote: Fylde_Warrior "Andy Powell could look after himself with the best playing his first sport, Union. Playing League he is trying to learning a virtually new sport and as such is 'vulnerable' albeit lucky RL is much cleaner now. It did not matter that Stuart Evans was the biggest player on the pitch because he was 'out of his depth' If you played sport at a decent level you would also understand about the fragility of confidence and self belief. Last time I looked, neither were size related.'"
So Andy Powell had fragile confidence and self belief? Did he tell you that himself? Shame on Wane for playing him.

| I'll answer that for you. You don't have a f'ing clue how prepared or willing Powell was to make his debut. Or how 'vulnerable' he was. Or if Wane asked how he felt about playing or if he was ready to play.
That's the last I'm going to say on it.

| He needed to play his first game at some point, and it was going to be a struggle. If he played tomorrow he'd already look a lot stronger just from having that first run out under his belt imo. I would give him time at the Scorpions, but I definitely believe there's a lot of potential in him as a rugby league player.

| I don't think I've ever seen an overreaction like this thread. If we'd won by the margin we'd lost and he played exactly the same as he did, this thread wouldn't be anything like the drama it is now.
