They are on the verge of a series win over the Aussies, have global coverage and are all paid a lot more than these RL players. So I'm sure crying about how good an irrelevant league fixture was between two club sides is well down their list.

It might be something to do with the unnecessary 24/7 coverage that they have and they are still second when it comes to the rugby spectacle, RU will NEVER be as entertaining as league, if you like scrums and pile ons move along

I was not reflecting the overall state of RU v RL as of money paid to players, world and country wide coverage on all media. I was just comparing them as a spectacle, entertainment and how it would be an impossible task for anyone from the dark-side to possibly try to maintain the status of that sport as a superior entertainment.
