Quote: WARRIORCRAIG "I thought the overlap tries that were scored down our right hand side were down to Goulding and then Hughes not trusting Williams to make one on one tackles, so they were coming too far inside to help him out and it was leaving Charnley exposed.'"
Had a look at the highlights on Wigan TV and for the first try that definitely wasn't the case. Goulding actually seemed to have quite a lot of faith in Williams as he stuck to his opposite centre even though Williams' man had got on his outside. Goulding only moved inside at the last split second once it was obvious that Hanbury? was going to get the pass away.
Williams was partly at fault for not putting enough pressure on his own man and allowing him to get the pass away but Goulding was in the correct position and Charnley was far too close.
He did the same thing again in the second half. Wingers often get blamed because they are the last man beaten but on this occasion it was definitely Charnley getting caught ball watching. It's something he needs to improve.
