Back in the 1980s & 90s I was absolutely convinced that somewhere in Wigan there was a factory assembling back row forwards (Cassidy, Gildart, Farrell, Clarke, Wane, O'Loughlin, Betts). That factory is obviously thriving at the moment and Tuson is just unlucky that he's not getting the game time he desires and that seems to be his reason fr leaving. Wakefield may have offered him more per year but Wigan offered him 3 years so I don't think it's solely a money decision.
If I'm correct then good on him, it reminds me of a certain Gareth Ells who put opportunity before money and it didn't serve him too badly.
I rate Tuson very highly and he's bound to come to Wakefield as a very accomplished and complete player because he's been developed by the best youth pathway in Rugby League.
If you've got a young half back that's not getting in you can send him our way if you like, maybe Ryan Hampshire as he's a Wakefield lad anyway.
