It's just been on ask the ref.
They said it's only ever a pen for a shoulder charge unless there's contact to the head, which there wasnt.

I hope we don't see this creeping in more and more now that we've banned the shoulder charge. Sinfield clearly acted like a tart in an effort to win a penalty and to try and get Mick sent off. Can you imagine players from 20 year ago acting like that after a shoulder charge? I can see this getting worse and worse, players acting "dazed" or hurt after a shoulder charge to bring it to the refs attention, much like happens with late challenges on kickers |

McGuire did the same on Monday against Saints, when Soliola shoulder charged him. |
