Well I obviously won't be now, but usually when it's a Friday/weekend game a pair of us spend a tenner each at the stadium bar then go drinking in town, with it being on a Monday that won't happen. The decision to put it on a Monday will be bad for attendances, drink sales, and the parts of the local economy that rely heavily on the rugby. I'm not saying it'll be crippling but it's not great

You say the local economy rely heavily on the rugby trade. That may be the case but not for this game. This is a cup game and therefore won't have figured in most forecasts for local business's (king st bars...etc), due to other factors - we may have been knocked out in the previous round / we may have been drawn away...etc! So in theory, any sales they get on the Monday night will be a bonus to their normal takings.
