Apparently the England backrower we're linked with is Gareth Hock again, we're supposedly trying to hi-jack his move to Parra. This is according to the RL Mole on twitter so don't know how true it is.

Heard from a couple of people that we are definitely talking to H but he ideally wants to stay at Wigan, depending on a decent pay rise. He is from Salford though and if we're willing to throw money at him you never know...

It is Hock. Hear off someone else yesterday. Dr K is buying his contract off Parramatta which will presumably include the 6 figure transfer fee they paid as well.

Goulding had mentioned that if Salford's transfer targets came off they would have the 2 best second rowers currently in Super League. Now we all know Farrell is the form back rower but going on reputation over a number of years im assuming a combination of either Hock/Westwood/Hansen going on what people say on here. Hansen is a must for us. Hope Trickys points are what keeps him here, testimonial etc because we need to keep hold of some experience and Hansen is one of the best in this league.

I tend to agree but what about which English club holds is playing registration with the RFL?

Bradford found out to their cost with Harris and Leeds you just can't sign a player another club holds the registration of.

Would Koukash have to by out Parra and then also pay another fee to Wigan?

One would deduce Hock is still a registered player with Wigan.
The Parra/Hock deal is with Wigan, how can Koukash buy that out if Wigan don't agree to it?
The Salford good Doctor hasn't been in RL very long but he's knows how to create rumours when nothing is happening.
