If they go down then there will be 4 extra league games played on the pitch, but at least it shouldn't affect Home games on a Friday unless Whelan wants to be a T.W.4.T.

It might not be just you, but I wonder whether we'll be in that different position tbh, as they'll still want enough time to prepare the pitch. Potentially, it should be easier to shift a game against Grimsby (or whoever) than Man U though.
I think it would be sad if they are relegated, but I suspect that they're never going to be a long term Premier league club, given their size.

I think it would be a shame for the town and the genuine supporters but I've no love for the ill-informed cack that came out of Premier-League covering journalists implying that 'the use of the pitch by a rugby team is why the pitch is such a state'.

I'll be glad when 'Wigan' are the rugby team and 'Latics' are the football team.
