Quote Wigan Warriors confirm that Wigan Prop-Forward, Lee Mossop, and Second Row Forward Gareth Hock currently on-loan at Widnes will join NRL side Parramatta Eels at the end of the current 2013 Super League season.
In an innovative arrangement, Wigan have agreed that Mossop and Hock can join Parramatta and both players have agreed 2-year contracts with the Sydney-based Club for Seasons 2014 and 2015 with a further 1-year mutual option for 2016.
Parramatta will pay the Warriors a substantial six-figure Transfer Fee for each player since both players have been developed by Wigan and are currently contracted with the Wigan Club on long-term contracts.
As part of the agreement by Wigan to release the England International players at this time to take up the challenge in the NRL with Parramatta, it is agreed that Wigan have first option on each player to re-sign him at a defined salary for 2/3 years, dependent on time spent playing in Australia, when and if they choose to return to Super League.'"

Liam's original contract ran until the end of the current season with options for the next two years. This new deal secures Liam to Wigan for Seasons 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 with an option for 2018.
