47035_1386433761.gif We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_47035.gif |

| Got to agree with Wiganeers here.
The 2 coaches who before the game talked it down came away with pastings.
Other teams in equally tough positions came out fighting. The results may have gone as expected but because they put the effort in, the scorelines where respectable. Salford have hardly a great team, but they had something to fight for. Even Cas clawed some tries back at Saints.
If Wigan were suddenly at full strength and Hull KR were down to the academy, only then you may expect that score.
But Wigan are shot with injuries, Wigan had a game on Friday, Wigan where travelling away, but and this is the key, Wane would not accept anything like that kind of display from his under 15's facing a full Hull KR line up. He would have least expected to hold them to as few a points as possible. Although I would not put it beyond Wane to expect them to win.
Anyway that's enough of me agreeing with Wigan fans.

| just looked at the squad on show again, especially the pack and replacements. If you look at their age as at 01-01-13 then the starting pack average age was a whopping 22-23 yrs old and the 4 replacements were 21-22 yrs old......and not an overseas player amongst them.........If we can keep them out of the clutches of Yawnion or the Aussies we could have them together for the next 8-10 years..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

....and the really scary thing is that most forwards do not reach their playing peak until their later twenties or so.

Tony Clubb: "This is a new exciting chapter of my life signing for Wigan and I couldn't be happier" 18/10/2013
Romain Navarrete: “I’m very happy to have signed for Wigan Warriors. As soon I knew that Wigan were interested, they were the only team that I wanted to sign for. To me, Wigan is the biggest Club in Rugby League and it will be an honour to pull on the famous Cherry-and-White jersey next year. I look forward to working with Shaun Wane and the players at Wigan.”:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10172.jpg |

| If we have a squad for the next 8 years, what's going to happen to the conveyor belt of talent coming through?

| Going O/T and away from hull KRs youth system but... If anyone wants a read up of our Highest Scores over time (as we're here), since 1895 and the Northern Union, read herehttp://www.wiganrugbypast.co.uk/record-scoresrl
First draught only upto now, no pics yet etc etc but an interesting read nonetheless.
