Quote: pies-r-us "Listening to the news coming out of Australia this morning their sport might be in for a real big shock in the way of a drugs and crime time bomb. So he may not want to go anyway. Just when we thought sport couldn’t get any worse!
If these stories have any substance, it might halt the anticipated exodus of Brit players to Aus in its tracks. Whether that would be RU's gain or ours, who knows. Perhaps there'll even be a few more Aussie stars looking for UK hidey-holes.
Major signings from Aus always see to get made in the wake of NRL scandals. Of course, performance enhancing drugs is another matter altogether.

Tony Clubb: "This is a new exciting chapter of my life signing for Wigan and I couldn't be happier" 18/10/2013
Romain Navarrete: “I’m very happy to have signed for Wigan Warriors. As soon I knew that Wigan were interested, they were the only team that I wanted to sign for. To me, Wigan is the biggest Club in Rugby League and it will be an honour to pull on the famous Cherry-and-White jersey next year. I look forward to working with Shaun Wane and the players at Wigan.”:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10172.jpg
