it's sad really but your right, that's the way the game seems to be going

I said it to a friend whilst ranting about the sport, personally I would turn a sh*t side out week after week with the odd first teamer because we would still finish in the top 8 and then bring the likes of Sam, Paddy, Hock and Lockers back for the playoffs. If we were to win them it really would show the sport up.

exactly, i want to see the best side available on the park every week, but on the other hand it's fair enough to rest the odd one every now and again rather than risk a long term injury, Wane went a bit too far last year, but only a bit, if we'd have won at Widnes i think he'd have rotated more and the 'first teamers' would have been that bit fresher come the back end of the year

I think he probably would have. We still saw the likes of Hughes, Gelling, Powell, Tomkins, Lloyd, Spencer, Crosby, Dudson, Murphy and Russell given a chance though.

Personally I'd like to see Sam rested more often as well as Paddy and Lockers.

i agree, if we've got a young lad pushing an established first teamer as in some of the cases you mention, especially in the backs then they need to get a few games under there belt in the easier games in the season, but one or two at a time
