| Quote: sergeant pepper "Thursday, Friday or Monday it makes little difference to most.
What is more important, imo, is that we see some proactive movements from both Wigan and the RFL on this.
We have the football fixture info and we know we are playing Saints at home. Let's make a decision now or at least soonish and let any potential issues fizzle out in the malaise of the pre season.
Also helps those who aren't lucky enough to have the whole Easter weekend off.'"
I don't fancy rolling into work at 8am on Tuesday morning the day after a Wigan Saints derby.

2553.gif I've seen them bomb a quarter final, bottle a semi final, finish as league leaders, but I've still, never, seen the Wire win the league

I will look to the moment, and miraculously, the future will take care of itself.

I am saying it, as a primary sport like I said, I watch football but secondary to rugby...

big difference is, most rugby fans ALSO like soccer, so they are just as likely to be seen round town in a soccer shirt. most soccer fans won't give rugby the time of day. (boring, big thugs sport etc.)
the more important statistic is how many people consider Wigan rugby to be their NUMBER 1 team as opposed to a soccer team. living in Billinge it's about an equal mix of rugby and football from what i've seen. not a clue about Wigan to be honest, but whenever i've been , i have seen far more Wigan rugby tops than anything else!
