At times he was unplayable today all be it against poor opposition. It would be a massive loss for us if he were to go as he provides us with strike from the backrow. If it to better his life though and get away from his demons then fair play to the lad.

Hope it is all just rumours though as he would be a massive loss to our competition.

He wants to get away from his old friends who may encourage him back into that lifestyle. Surely that's pretty obvious, not that he wants to move to a cocaine free land.

Quite commendable really and he would be going for all the right reasons.

Surely he just needs to move away from Beech Hill to escape his old life as opposed to uggering of the Aus?

I'm sure the likes of Greg Bird (and his ilk) will be at the airport to welcome him with open arms!

I regularly read that the press treat NRL stars much like our press treat Premier League footballers and that some players move to the UK to get out of the 'goldfish bowl' that is the NRL - Doggie Monaghan for one, Tim Smith for two.

Not sure this would be the most ideal environment for Hock to be in at all.

I'm not a huge fan of Hock - the main reason being I don't think he has the brain to back up his terrific physical talents.

Personally it wouldn't bother me too much if he went. But that's just me and I can understand why others really like him. But I prefer solid, reliable players who play with intelligence. I wouldn't want to count on him in a high pressure situation.

Well he's in talks with Sydney Roosters for that exact reason, I guess we'll just have to wait and see what the outcome is. There's no better judge for what is best for him than Hock himself.

we never missed him when he was banned and we won't miss him if he goes
