Bilko. A little word of advice and encouragement from some one who is (fairly) independent of this Site. Take a bit of a rest through the winter months, then see how you feel about it after the New Year. You do an excellent job, your Site is a credit to you and it would be a shame to let it go to waste.

I don't think he has entirely missed the point. Bilko and others have said the league structure is a joke and some don't see the point in watching any more. I guess your all frustrated that you won the league yet the GF winners will get the plaudits. I agree with some that the top 8 should be scrapped. To be honest i don't think you would be complaining if you finished where Leeds did and ended up getting to the grand final.

The playoff structure needs changing, yet the rules are laid out at the start of the season and they are no excuses. You guys failed in play off footy.

If you read his other posts he said you were the best this season and agrees with some of you guys. But then again for some of your fans to say your not turning up any more is a bit extreme and can be seen as sour grapes. The small majority that is because Wigan has generally a good fan base.

If only the internet had been around in the heady Wigan days of the 80's and early 90's....how many 'disillusioned' fans do you think would have posted back then? None from Wigan, but plenty from everywhere else...from teams who had absolutely no chance of winning anything at all...and that includes fans from Leeds, Saints, Hull and my club Warrington.

The game is in need of some changes...but to threaten to walk away from it is over the top. It would have been very very easy for many fans to walk away when Wigan won everything year after year after year....I know I was one of those fans..Wigan fans have no idea what that feels like.

So I'd say stick with it..things change for the worst and the better. This game needs it fans...and Wigan fans are a key component to the game and its success....do you really want the game watched by you fathers, grand fathers and great grandfathers to die out?

On your first post, fair comment....it doesn't make it any easier at the moment, though. We're not the first to probably feel like this, and, if the current structure stays in place, we won't be the last.

On the second, no, I've not, so I'll take your word for it.

I had personally made the decision not to renew prior to the playoffs. Nothing to do with wigan loosing, but more to do with it beung so bloody boring.
