You can't polish a turd! Yes Saints maybe be bottlers when it comes to the Grand Final but to get there 6 times in a row is a superb achievement!

Only one team can win and every time they've come up against a team who wanted it more.
Ask the likes of Cas or Salford if they'd like a team that lost the last 6 finals?

If you get to a final 5 times in a row and cannot find one performance out of them five to make you champions then you are bottlers. To become Champions you have to perform on the biggest stage! If Warrington do not win next Saturday they will still be known as the "bottlers". |

As much as I dislike the great unwashed over the hill, to finish 3rd and go out at the semi-final stage represents a good season for them, considering how they started the season.
As much as it pains me to say it, Wigan are now the great underachievers - both last season and this we have bottled it in the playoffs.

Is it so hard to accept that you lost because your opposition outplayed you? Nowt to do with 'bottling', which is a Cockney expression anyway and should have no use in good Northern English. |
