Quote: sally cinnamon "All the neutrals in the game will be rooting for Wire, what a great fairy story it would be, after years of domination from the big clubs like Wigan, Leeds, Saints and Bradford, to have a small club rise their way to the top would give rugby league a huge shot in the arm and it would be a great inspiration to clubs like Swinton and Batley that if they have the same tight spirit that Warrington have, even a small club that has never won anything can break through to the top.'"
How old are you? Warrington have always been a big club. Generally rubbish for the majority of the last 30 years granted, but they have always been a big club.
If Warrington's recent success is a pointer to how to climb to the top it is to get a rich sugar daddy and buy it, pretty much as Wigan were accused of doing in the 80's and 90's. I am sure Swinton and Batley have some rich backers lined up already!
