| Green looks a good signing but will he gel with Smith? Not sure if he is a scrum half or hooker, been playing with us for a couple of months now and thats the one thing i cant work out.

| Fantastic year! Won the league and two semi finals with a new coach and a rather young team.
I would love to have made it to the finals, but Wigan didn't (I will, and haven't yet bought a ticket for the GF). Hopefully the team will learn from the safe route that Leeds took, penalty and drop goal etc...

| My view.
Why bother with the weekly rounds. I mean, seriously, what is the point?
This is why the once greatest game in the world is a joke in this country. From the top to the bottom it is a joke.
At junior level kids can't get a game for love nor money. The RFL bring in an amateur summer league that is a joke. Then we get semi professional rugby that the RFL just keep at arms length and then we have Super Dooper League with its play off system. If its high intensity rugby you want WEEK IN WEEK OUT then go back to the league system where the top placed team are crowned champions.
Rant over !

| Backed us to win the cup and lose in the GF. Didn't expect to finish top.
Some good points. Some bad points. Not too much to work on I don't think and with the youngsters a year older and hopefully wiser (although Finch has been there and done it and still f*cked up tonight on several occasions) we'll carry on progressing.

So do you think all sports with a play off system hold scrap the league? Including the nrl?

Thing is mate, The NRL is by far a better product. No NRL team has picked weakened teams have they? Each and every game in the NRL is high intensity (proven by the scorelines). Super League just isn't in the same league.
Play offs work in the NRL (and US sports) because they play at much higher intensity EVERY SINGLE GAME. We however choose to rest players and are not to bothered about losing the odd weekly round "because its the playoffs that count"

| Under achieved IMO and bottled the 2 important games in the season.
Simple as that for me.
Incredibly disappointed. This team would've achieved more under Madge, this year, for me.

Yep, it's not like the majority of RL championships over the last 116 years have been decided by a play-off system.
If the play offs continue to produce games like tonight and last week then they should be celebrated not ridiculed.

| Disappointing season. The team was quite clearly capable of being a very good side and one capable of winning the Grand Final but they showed that ability at completely the wrong time.
They failed in the challenge cup semi final by lacking composure and playing some dumb rugby.
They failed in the playoff semi final by lacking composure and playing some dumb rugby.
The team also seemed to pick up too many knocks towards the end of the year, players lost form and some just looked jaded quite possibly because Shaun Wane set his sights on winning the most pointless and meaningless trophy on offer rather than concentrating on having a fully fit team and good form what it really matters.
The season has been a disappointment as the team failed miserably when it mattered most.

| We have gone backwards.
Failed in the 'crunch games' this season, and that is not Wigans way at all.
Losing the players we are, is downgrading the teams overall quality and 'hoping' we get better signings is just 'pie in the sky' I am afraid.
Not optimistic for next season I am afraid
