the reason i don't want him here is because of his age and also 1 injury and he'd probably be knackered for rest of the season, fair enough his experience would come in handy but too much of an injury risk for me |

To be fair BBB, an injury such as you describe could happen to anyone, and would not be dependant on age.. |

In the salary cap era can you even have those types of contract? I dont really see how they could work without severely holding back cap space in case Fielden plays a full season. |

Best deal for him and us is if he gets an injury that keeps him out for a length of time eg 2 months he retires. Can not see him going for that especially with some clubs that will pay him a fat cheque for 1 years contract. If he shows some decent form over the play offs we should attempt to keep him. |
