Wire finish top of the league and Wigan the CC.

Wigan are top of the league with Wire in the CC final.

Come on, you're allowed to give other teams credit.We were something to laugh at for quite a while, hadn't won a trophy for years yadda, yadda, yadda. It's gone now, in the past, accept it. Wire, Leeds, Saints and Wigan are the premier teams in SL now and are much better than the rest. Any of these teams can beat the other on their day and are more than capable of winning SL. Who gives a sh*t who has the most academy players?, how many dogs have licked Joels cock?, where has Gelling had a dump this week?
It's going to be a great game between two great teams. There is a bit of fear from both sets of fans and also alot of respect hidden behind that fear. It's just that both sets of fans won't admit it. Wigan don't like Wire being the new kids on the block and have been their biggest rival in terms of league position the past 3 years and Wire will always envy Wigan due to their success.

Are they actual quotes from Wigan fans or just your own? We all know the main competition is the playoffs and GF, just talk me through your record in that please! Yes Wire have very good players and are a very good team and have been for a few years but still no GF and your chances of winning it this year are the highest, but if you don't then all your 30+ players will be a year older. In my opinion if you do not sign anyone this off season then next year you will be weaker and I think TS has stated it is unlikely you will, time to depend on your youth, that wouldn't fill me with much confidence if I was a Wire fan!!

I think I'll take Tony Smith's judgment over yours in the matter of the older players. But as you're so concerned please give Tony a detailed analysis of the shortcomings of our Academy players. |
