Amazing sports man is right..
The Tour De France is a huge event and to have the guy whos leading it showing his support for us, but most importantly our game..should not be over looked by wigan and the RFL..
one tweet from someone like ferdinand is seen by over 2 million people all over the world..thats publicity our game as ever had on a daily bases..
one tweet on a friday or monday to say "guys watch sky sports 2 tonight, you'll love it" will get more people tuned in than 1000 stobart trucks.

I've watched a little. Albeit only because I read the piece below and wanted to see it for myself. I'm a saddo for stuff like that. I think Cancellara has dropped down the field quite a bit now.

Well I'm off today to ride a Tour Stage on Saturday in the Etape du Tour, hope I can finish on time to watch the semi in Bagneres de Luchon. Think it's fantastic that Brad is a Wigan fan, goes to the games etc, wish him all the best in what could be a landmark sporting achievement.

He is one of the greatest athletes and sportsmen in the world. For me he is up there with the likes of Federer, Bolt and Messi and winning the Tour would cement that status.
To add a Tour win to his Olympic and World gold medals would be a truly immense achievement.
