I'd leave Goulding in the centres. He's playing well and that's his position. Bring Thornley into the team slowly as a winger. I'm surprised he's not been given a shot over Gelling yet.

Some coaches like to bring outside backs who have played fb/centre at junior level in to the 1st team on the wing, it happens in the NRL quite a bit, and we are seeing it with Gelling. It makes sense, especially alongside an experienced centre. A winger can get jittery when they have an inexperienced centre alongside them (see Joel/Josh last year). They obviously still have to be able to cope under a high ball for example but it means they can concentrate on their own game rather than worrying what's going on outside them.
