Apart from not quite having the pace or confidence to go for the corner and a lack of positional experience I think he's doing everything else really well. He's been a threat in the air in previous games, defends very well and I can't think of a winger who carries the ball much stronger than him in SL. Considering he is only playing because Pat is injured, I think he's doing very well.

I've only seen King once or twice and I do think it's worth giving him a chance, but not because of the way Gelling is playing.

Nobody is giving Gelling credit for his knock down that saved a certain try in the second half.

Why?

Selective memory I think mate

I've stuck with Lauaki as my scapegoat for most of the season but, much to my annoyance, he's quite good so I'm struggling to justify it. I may switch to Gelling.

I'll see how this young fullback pans out first though before I do switch.
