No i'd be disappointed if a Leeds player got injured, which for a second i thought Hall did in the same collision, but i wouldn't call for the game to be scrapped as a result. I admit many Leeds fan would react differently to me, but i'm not trying to make it out to be some Leeds/Wigan thing like you are Sir and that fans of other clubs would be any different. I also wrote ''THE ONES (not everyone) who are calling for the game to be scrapped'' which indicates that yes i was being selective about some views but i didn't hide that and didn't claim all Wigan fans are thinking the same thing. Do we move for Smith or Chase now or simply call Russell back? Mellor isn't anywhere near good enough and shouldn't be considered a realistic option.

I honestly can't see how Mellor is considered not good enough yet people think Russell is. He's fantastic with the ball in hand but he's still awful under the high ball. People didn't have much patience with Ainscough and I can't imagine them having much patience with Russell either. The Hull fans would be happy for Russell to come back to Wigan and that says a lot given the few options they have at fullback.

Salary Cap may be a stumbling block.
