Gronk! I'm not being funny but Chase's defensive abilities are diabolical, he always gets handed off yet most of our fans think he's amazing in defence just because he can put a big hit once every blue moon. His passing game is ok but not substantial for wigan he just knows where the gaps and where the people running through the gaps are. If you watch, most of his passes in the middle of the field are abysmal

Maybe it is cheaper at this moment in time to pay a transfer fee for Chase .Looks like we are not going to get a NRL player coming to SL with the increase of the NRL cap we would have to break the bank and blow the SC to get a NRL player .Put in perspective a transfer fee does not count on SC and if say we get Chase on the same pay as Finch on a 3 year contract would be alot cheaper than a NRL player and keep IL 's pay structure intact.

Disagree as fans we should be debating whether he is a good fit for the team. However, the transfer fee is not really something that fans should focus on. IFL is a shrewd businessman and if it is ok by him it should be ok by us (IMO). |

There is no debate to be had, it is for IFL to decide if he thinks parting with such a sum is value for money. |
