Why a video ref if the games not being shown on Sky?

All the games in france have a video ref. Plus its on french television

Hock was sent off and had a 2 match ban for a head butt, not sure who the catalan player was who tried to head butt mickey mac but he just had a ticking off, yet again another demonstration that Hock has one rule book and the rest of the league have another. Hock wasn't sent off or banned for a head butt. If you're going to have a rant at least get the basics right.

Well, that's the third wrong decision by Smith against Wigan. His decision last year in France cost us the game. His two terrible decisions this year had no bearing on the final outcome but I am seething. It's just not on.

the Penalty Try really was a shocker. If that game was on Sky it would have had a big thread on the VT about how poor it was. Mickey was tackling the player as he was getting the ball and it was certainly not certain that a try would have been scored as he was about 3 meters out when he hit the ground.

I honestly am amazed at the terrible decision, but at the same time I am not surprised at all.
