Honestly can't believe it. The squad on the whole just shows how bad a coach McNamara is; he's picking on reputation, not form and who deserves to be in there.

Not just because Micky and Fuzzy aren't in there, I've not got my bitter hat on, but common surely it's common sense to pick the current most potent centre-wing partnership in the league? Charnley isn't top try scorer just off his own bat. Darrell Goulding more than deserves a place in that squad.

As for the Burrow inclusion, I can understand that. He can turn a game off the bench. Surely there's room for McIlorum as well though? Has to be the current form player in his position and he gets better every week. Can't understand why he was in the last squad but is now playing even better and isn't in this one. Complete lack of any consistency and awareness.

All in all, poor effort McBanana. Very poor.

Suits me that. Less England players in the squad= less injuries. We have 4 in the exiles as well don't we?

After all, I want a fully fit and uninjured team to turn up against Widnes and dismantle them after last time. If we can put 50 past Leeds we have the capability to put 100 past Widnes! Payback!

i love how on twitter last week even richie mathers, ryan atkins, leroy cudjoe amongst others were saying micky mac should start ahead of roby as he has been the best hooker in the league all year and he doesn't even get in the khights squad let alone the full squad mcnamara is a joke. and no goulding? who is gonna play centre in the knights rhys evans????

As someone who has valued International Rugby over club rugby I am very annoyed at this selection.

Goulding and Micky have been 2 of the outstanding players regardless of position in SL.

I crave an competitive international game, but whilst we have our current coaching set up that will never happen.

Stunning how someone as clearly limited as him at club level is given arguably the most important job in rugby league.

And the RFL wonder why we don't get a full ground for an International fixture. Try appointing a coach that picks form players and not old has-beens, in these strapped for cash times people are going to think twice about going to watch some 2nd rate game due to a crap selection process by a coach who couldn't pick his own nose.

Quite amazing that they've both missed out on the England squad, but to both miss out on the Knight's squad is downright unbelievable.

Hopefully this snub spurs the two of them on to an even greater level.

The Knights squad is just nonsense though. They've basically kept the basis of the squad they picked at the start of the year regardless of the form of the players in that squad. Many have been dropped by their club, or haven't been playing regularly or simply aren't in form. There are some excellent young players outside of the Knights squad who would really benefit from being included who aren't presumably because someone somewhere is too lazy to pick a Knights squad that includes young players on form.
