| Sky sports news says he's signed a 3 year extension to keep him at Carson until 2015. He would have been a good replacement for tommy

| I think Wane is a big fan of Thornley so it would make sense but he will have a lot to prove. Has the size and pace to make an excellent 3/4 but has hardly been tearing it up in Union.
With a bit of luck if he does return he will concentrate on his league future and knuckle down to realise his potential on his League future, without getting his head turned again by Union.

They had high hopes for him and he was an international at his level. When it was announced he was leaving everyone decided he was rubbish though.
He's a big lad. 6' 4" and 15.5st

He's one of Wane's lads and I think he's a loyal coach to his own kids. I've no doubt that's why we're interested in bringing Brown back in too. I think there's nothing more Wane would want than a team of home grown lads.

| Don't know if any of you have been following his progress, but he's been on loan to Leeds for a fair bit of this season.

Cheers mate
Left or right sided?.
Gelling, Charnley, Pat and possibly thornley makes for a massive back line.
He likes the big lads does our Shaun.

He was normally a left centre at academy level.

Speaking with one of our scouts the current philosophy is we are looking at lads with the potential to be 6" plus in most positions. Thornley falls into this category.
I seriously though cannot get excited about the prospect of resigning Brown.
