Maybe if we do travel in numbers it won't be a difficult job to give up home advantage when it inevitably happens again?

| Well if that's the case Wigan may as well say don't bother selecting us at home in the cup.
It's completely pointless and a total joke.
Will anyone be funding travel costs for this "home" fixture?

| A real shame if this gets moved. Wigan RL are at least as well supported as latics and should be able to hold this great event in their home venue

| No amount of spin from IL, or the happy clappers (who by default believe they are better fans because they wont ever find fault) will make this right, proper or acceptable.
There will be 22hrs between the games, surely if IL picks up the costs, it wont be an issue. The Wigan groundsman has told me in the past it can easily be turned around, Im quite sure the catering outlets will be able to get hold of enough mars bars and plastic hot dogs.
Our lease is pointless and things like this stop fans from ever truely feeling like the DW is our home, we should have just swapped this fixture to LP, playing it at Widnes etc simply isn't good enough, granted it could all be much about nothing, but theres normally no smoke without fire.
Season ticket holders, and people who attend the majority of games, but choose not to go because they are dissatisfied with the situation, are no less fans, than those who will happy clap playing at Widnes, but Im sure that wont stop a few making that the main argument and ignoring the real issue.

| Now that the BBC have confirmed the timeslot surely Wigan, Whelan and/or the Premier League can come up with some agreement to play the game at the DW. A 2.30 kickoff leaves plenty of time to turn around ready for Latic's home game. Didnt Hull Fc and Hull City once play on the same day!?

| Quote OJ="OJ"Seems to be gathering momentum as it was on the GMR news that we may have to go to a neutral venue and sporting life seem to think Widnes' Stobart stadium is being considered or in other words another home tie for Saints

I'd rather we played you at the HJ - you smashed us at Halton, and the semi at HJ was a much closer game (same result though). I believe Leigh are playing at home, so thats not really a valid option.

| It would be pure disaster if this was moved. Just embarrasing.
IL, get the money to turn the stadium around.
